Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly. It explains what cookies are, which categories we use, and how to manage your preferences.

Last Updated: March 12, 2026

1) What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember information about your visit, such as your consent settings and basic session continuity. Cookies can be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored for longer, until they expire or you delete them).

Cookies can also be first-party (set by PSF) or third-party (set by service providers we use). In addition to cookies, websites may use similar technologies, such as pixel tags and server-side event forwarding. When used, these technologies serve comparable purposes: measuring site usage, improving navigation, and (if you consent) supporting advertising measurement and remarketing.

2) How we use cookies

PSF B.V. operates as an online education provider delivering professional learning programs and resources. Cookies help us keep the site functional, understand how content is used, and (if you choose) measure the effectiveness of advertising. We do not use cookies to provide consulting services or financial, legal, or accounting advice; the site exists to support education and registration for learning programs.

When you visit our site, you will see a cookie banner that lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences. Essential cookies are always active because they are required for the site to function. Analytics and marketing cookies are only activated after you provide explicit consent through the cookie banner or preferences panel.

3) Cookie categories

Essential cookies (always active)

These cookies are required for core site functionality, such as maintaining basic session continuity and remembering your cookie consent choice. Without them, the website may not work reliably.

Analytics cookies (consent required)

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site—for example, which pages are read most often and how navigation flows. When enabled, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization. Analytics data retention is typically set to 14 months.

Marketing cookies (consent required)

Marketing cookies are used to measure advertising performance and, where applicable, to support remarketing and audience building. When enabled, these cookies may be set by platforms such as Google Ads and Meta. They can record events like page views and conversions for attribution.

4) Cookie table

The table below lists common cookies that may be present when the relevant category is enabled. Some third-party cookie names include an identifier that varies by implementation. If you choose not to consent to analytics or marketing cookies, those categories remain disabled by default.

Name Purpose Category Type Retention
_site_session Site session continuity Essential First-party Session
cookie_consent Stores your consent choice Essential First-party 12 months
_ga GA4 user identifier Analytics Third-party 2 years
_ga_XXXXXXXXXX GA4 session state (10-char GA4 ID) Analytics Third-party 2 years
_gcl_au Google Ads conversion linker Marketing Third-party 90 days
_fbp Meta Pixel browser identifier Marketing Third-party 90 days
_fbc Meta Pixel click identifier Marketing Third-party 90 days

5) Third-party providers

Where enabled by your consent settings, we may use third-party services that set cookies or process similar identifiers. Examples include:

  • Google LLC (Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and related tools) for analytics and advertising measurement.
  • Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel and related tools) for advertising measurement and remarketing.
  • Cloudflare (security and delivery) which may process IP addresses for security purposes.

We do not permit these providers to use site data for their own independent commercial purposes. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and by contractual terms that apply to service providers.

6) Managing cookie preferences

You can manage your choices at any time using the cookie preferences controls available on this website. The quickest method is to use the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the site footer. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting stored cookies or blocking third-party cookies.

If you disable analytics cookies, we will not receive GA4 usage data associated with your browser. If you disable marketing cookies, advertising measurement and remarketing features will be limited. Essential cookies remain active because they are required for core site functionality.
